As District Manager, you will be providing mentorship to our refinery site teams on chemical and technical support for our customers across your operating area. You will ensure that we deliver a successful service through promoting best in class sales and service standards for managing chemical applications and delivering value adding solutions. You will take ownership for growth and sales development to support the changing needs of our customer base.
As a Downstream Chemicals District Manager, you will be responsible for:
Collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers to assess future needs and requirements to understand forecast activities.
Ensuring flawless execution and on-time delivery to our customers through effective planning of resources
Developing quality plans in line with our job cycle process to ensure risks are mitigated.
Overseeing your team's contracts and quotes to ensure we harvest our contracts and monitor outstanding customer financials
Monitoring your departmental budget and Purchase Ledger to track areas of spend
Coaching, developing, and mentoring your team to share knowledge, skills and insight
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience in oil and gas chemicals sales and service.Refinery experience preferred.
Demonstrate solid knowledge and experience of chemicals sales or service or similar
Have experience in managing P&Ls
Be able to travel regionally up to 50% with some overnights
Be experienced at balancing high-pressure work and tight deadlines
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with internal and external customers, teams and suppliers
