Partner with the best

The Sr Valves Proposals Manager will lead the commercial strategy of Baker Hughes offering in agreement with the Sales team and the project team/functions. You will be the main commercial interface between customer and BH during the Proposal negotiation and Order definition.

As the Sr Sales Manager Proposals, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the preparation of the most competitive and value creating commercial proposals for the BH LNG products, for opportunities in the North America area and around the world, guaranteeing quality, completeness and time responsiveness
  • Collaborating with the Sales Force to develop and deploy the commercial strategies that will meet customer requirements as well as meet or exceed business goals.
  • Leading contract negotiation, coordinating all the supporting Functions, and the following hand-off for project execution phase.
  • Promoting long term actions to differentiate vs competition (support DTI and Product Leadership teams to develop new solutions for LNG applications).
  • Tracking and reporting with accuracy the data relevant to the portfolio of assigned project/s (DM tool management).


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a degree in or equivalent or 10+ yrs of direct industry experience with Relief or Control Valves Proposal
  • Have experience in Energy or Oil & Gas commercial, sales (both new units or aftermarket services), technical fields or equivalent which can fit the role of commercial operation activity.
  • Have highly developed verbal and non-verbal communication skills for preparing proposals, negotiating and conducting meetings with Customers.
  • Have commercial acumen & leadership influencing skills.
  • Have full availability to travel business up to 20% including Houston based customer sites and US territory
